Senpai Adam Everest has been training in Shidokan for over 25 years, demonstrating a deep commitment to the art. In June 2007, he was awarded Nidan (2nd Dan) by Kancho, marking a significant achievement in his martial arts journey.
His previous martial arts experience includes four years of Judo, adding to his well-rounded skill set.
Adam has also tested his abilities in competition, participating in the Shidokan Open in Lille, France (1995) and the Kyokushin Open at Crystal Palace, London (2000).
In 2001, alongside Sensei Steve Fenwick, Adam became one of the first Shidokan karateka to earn a Shodan (1st Dan) black belt in England, a milestone in the development of Shidokan in the UK.
